Brenda Jean Tipton

Mrs. Brenda Jean Tipton, 80, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022 at North East Georgia Medical following a brief illness.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Rev. Phil Carpenter will officiate.  Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Tipton was born December 24, 1941, in Gainesville, GA to the late Christopher Hanson and Myrtle Chumbler Hanson Irvin. She was retired from Hall County School System and was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church.

Brenda is preceded in death by her mother and sisters, Nola Chandler and Angela Hanson.

Mrs.  Tipton is survived by her husband of 63 years, William “Bill” Deston Tipton of Flowery Branch, GA; daughters, Connie Tipton and Rhonda Tipton Smith, both of Flowery Branch, GA; son, Todd Tipton (Gina), of Gainesville, GA, Scott Tipton (Leigh) of Braselton, GA; grandchildren, Rachel Jamison, Rebecca Spearman, Haley Smith, Rane Hoge, Storm Tipton, Breeze Tipton, Destin Tipton, Taylor Jones; great grandchildren, Lilianna Jamison, Vivian Jones and River Hoge.  A host of other relatives also survive.
