Lorrie Ann Bryson, age 60, of Clermont, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022.
Lorrie was born on August 4, 1962, in Hall County, to the late Billy and Patricia Oliver Alexander. She was a poultry farmer and a member of Skitts Mountain Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Lorrie was preceded in death by her husband, Tranis Bryson.
She will be remembered for her cooking, especially her award-winning strawberry cobbler. Her kitchen was always open to everyone. She will be remembered for her love of Jesus and good music that she passed down to her grandkids.
Survivors include her son, Trey Bryson (Katelyn Poole); daughters, Leslie Palmer (Justin) and Lauren Smith (Peanut); grandchildren, Seth “Sunshine” Palmer, Jessie Palmer, Blake Palmer, Jace Smith, Sailor Smith, and Palin Smith; sister, Pam Grier (Johnny); nieces and nephews, Jamie and Stacy Moose, Phillip and Tonya Grier, Neil and Lori Grier; special sister, Elaine Oliver; as well as a community of loved ones who knew her as “Nana Lorrie.”
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 3, 2022, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Kyle Savage and the Rev. Milton Harris will officiate. Interment will follow in Oliver Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
