Samuel Rex "Sam" Grindle, 55 of Gainesville died Sunday October 23, 2022, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville Campus.
A lifelong resident of Hall County, Sam was the son of the late Charles Ford Grindle and Bobbie Jean McKinney Grindle, and he attended Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Sandye Grindle, Gainesville, son, Hayden Grindle, Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Hannah Grindle, Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Tracy Hulsey, Gainesville, brother and sister-in-law, Stacy and Michele Grindle, Gainesville, brother-in-law, Terry Hatchett, Blairsville, sister-in-law, Diane Hatcher, Gainesville. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Sam is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Joy Hatchett and Connie Queen, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jim and Ann Hatcher and brother-in-law, Randy Hatcher.
Funeral services will be held Thursday October 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Yellow Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Franklin Grant and Rev. Randy Perry will officiate. Interment will follow in the Yellow Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Grant officiating. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Wednesday October 26 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
