Patsy Hensley

Patsy Hensley, age 92, or Demorest, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022.

Mrs. Hensley was born on March 10, 1930 in Cisco, Texas to the late Lawrence and Jewell McClellan Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Homer Lee Hensley; and her daughter, Vicki Bishop.

Mrs. Hensley was a member of Clarkesville Baptist Church, where she was a member of the church choir. She also volunteered with Meals on Wheels and was also a member of the Habersham Senior Center. Mrs. Hensley was also active with Bible Studies in the community. Patsy will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and soon to be great-grandmother.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Cathy Hensley, of Lilburn; and five grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Grady Walden and Rev. Curt Frederick officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel prior to the service.
