Emma Lou Miller

Mrs. Emma Lou Miller, 79, of Gainesville, GA, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022 at Fannin County Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Shane Turner will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on November 24, 1942 in Cumming, she was the daughter of the late James William Thomas and the late Ione Wynell Bell. She was a homemaker and a member of Roanoke Baptist Church in Cumming, GA.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin Brooks and Thurmon Miller, Sr.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her son and daughter in law, Jerry and April Brooks of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Connie and Richard Smith of Blairsville; sister, Mary Lou Wood of Commerce; grandchildren, Corey and Teresa Brooks, Hailey Brooks, Jerry and Marcy Morris, Brittany Morris, Megan Pilgrim, Amanda and Shane Quiett, Dalton and Hannah Smith; great grandchildren, Megan Fambrough, Ashlyn Quiett, Abbagail Quiett, Jonah Smith, Macy Smith, Graclyn Brooks, Ethan Morris, Hudson Seymour and a number of other loving relatives.
