Yolanda B. Foryst

Mrs. Yolanda B. Foryst, 62, of Gillsville, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on September 8, 1960 in Greeley, CO, she was the daughter of Marcella Long. She was self-employed as a hairdresser. Mrs. Foryst was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Foryst is survived by her husband of 33 years, David Foryst of Gillsville; daughter, Jade Foryst Cassano (Michael) of Gainesville; mother, Marcella Long of Labelle, FL; brother, Eddie Rodriguez (Estela) of Immokalee, FL; sister, Lisa Steele (Stephen) of Santa Barbara, CA; brother, Johnny Cadena (Cynthia) of Fort Myers Beach, FL and grandpuppy, Biscuit.
