B.A. "Red" Parks, Jr., age 76 of Gainesville, Georgia passed away Thursday October 20, 2022 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, Georgia.
"Red" is survived by, his wife of 52 years, Heather Spain Parks; a sister-in-law, Jackie Frankum, and several nieces and nephews also survive. Red is also survived by very special extended family members, Linda C. Lee and Ms. Lee's son, Rocky Lee.
Born to Estelle and B.A. Parks, Sr., he retired from Avery-Denison where he worked in Maintenance. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. He played league softball with the Gainesville Parks and Recreation and several private teams as well.

The family will receive friends on Saturday October 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Ward's Funeral Home, 758 Main Street, S.W., Gainesville, Georgia.
