Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Stephen “Stevie” Boyd, age 69, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Wednesday October 19, 2022. Mr. Boyd was born in Jackson County, Georgia the son of the late Johnny Boyd and the late Ruth Fambrough Boyd. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Boyd.
Mr. Boyd worked as a salesman with Alexander Seawald and was a member of White Plains Baptist Church, Jefferson, Georgia.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Boyd of Jefferson, GA. Daughter, Ashley Hunnicett (David) of Maysville, GA. Two grandchildren, Zackary and Makayla Hunnicett. Sister, Kathy Pritchett (Donnie) of Jefferson, GA. Special nephew, John Boyd (Toyu) of Franklin County, GA. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday October 23, 2022, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jeffrey Bell officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson Memorial Park, Commerce, GA. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
