Brenda Lou Freeman

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Brenda Lou Freeman, age 64, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Thursday October 20, 2022. Mrs. Freeman was born in Barrow County, Georgia the daughter to the late Lewis Bond and the late Mary Jane Gee Bond. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eleven siblings.

Mrs. Freeman worked as a weaver with Jefferson Mills for nineteen years, worked at Buhler Yarns for eleven years and later at Bentley Assisted Living, Jefferson, GA. Mrs. Freeman was a member of Revival Baptist Church, Jefferson, GA.

Survivors include her husband, Calvin Freeman, Jefferson, GA. Daughter, Teresa Tumlin (Chester) of Jefferson, GA. Son, Billy Freeman (Christine) of Hoschton, GA. Eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday October 25, 2022, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Matt Day officiating. Interment will follow at Revival Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
