Roy Ward

Mr. Roy Ward, age 88 of Jasper, Georgia formerly of Banks County, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on October 20, 2022.

Mr. Ward was born on August 27, 1934 to the late Henry and Alma Ward in Banks County, Georgia. Roy enjoyed traveling to Dayton, Florida to the bike rallies, the Atlanta Braves, going to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, traveling just about anywhere, his dog Sadie, attending his class reunions and he loved to eat. Mr. Ward can be described and a kind, loving man and always wanted to be a friend and have someone to talk to. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his sisters Winnie Tilly and Woodie Ward.

Mr. Ward is survived by his brother James W. Wood of Lawrence; Nieces and a Nephew as well as his care givers Malinda Arrendale and Cathy Arrendale.

A graveside service has been scheduled for Monday, October 24, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Terry Rice to officiate the service.

The Family will receive friends on Monday, October 24, 2022 starting at 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.
