Luba Tur Rusk

Mrs. Luba Tur Rusk, age 73, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel.

Mrs. Rusk was born August 20, 1949 in Munich, Germany. She was the daughter of the late Michael Tur and Anna Aksiutschenko Tur. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Victor Tur.

Luba had a long list of hobbies; she was a Master Gardener, loved canning and making jams and jellies; making her famous tomatoes, pickles, and salsa. She enjoyed pottery, sitting by the fire pit with family; sewing, quilting, shopping and especially going to Hobby Lobby. Going to Jaemor and the farmers market; reading and traveling with papa.

Luba is survived by her husband, John Rusk; children, David Teague, Kristina Campbell (Tony); stepchildren, John David Rusk (Rebecca); Linette Rusk, Jeanine Rusk; grandchildren, Jordan Teague, Taylor Payne (Andrew), Kori Teague; step-grandchildren, Ashley Audette, Claire Barr (Sean Macikowski), Bradley Barr, Thomas Barr; great-grandchildren, Anya-Leigh Payne, Callie-Jane Payne, Philippe-Andrew Payne; step-great-grandchildren, Aiden Rider; brother, Leon Tur (Lori Ann); best friend, Tina Cathers and a number of other family and friends also survive.
