Mrs. Diane Denton Kelley, age 72 of Oak Street, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at The Oaks at Scenic View in Baldwin, Georgia.
A daughter of the late Boyd A. Denton and Johnnie Roberts Denton, she was born October 9, 1950 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Tates Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Boyd Howard “Stinky” Kelley, and by siblings, Sandra Marcus, David Denton, Bill (Red) Denton and Thomas Roberts.
Survivors include her husband of the home, Charles Kelley; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Missy Kelley and Joe and Buffy Kelley both of Toccoa; daughter-in-law, Kathy Kelley of Toccoa; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 20, 2022, 1 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Wesley Kelley, Kole Kelley, Zach Knell, Chance Thomas, Tommy Denton, Brian Kelley and Ronnie Simpson.
The family will at the home on Oak Street and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Diane Denton Kelley.
