Mr. Billy Lee Williams, 68, of Gainesville passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at Winder Health Care following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Born on March 30, 1954 in Hall County, he was the son of the late Henry Felton Williams and the late Sarah Ann Delong Williams. He had previously worked at Chicopee in the weave room. Mr. Williams was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his son, Andy Williams; wife, Jeanie Williams and brother, Charles Felton Williams.
Mr. Williams is survived by his daughters, Judy Barnett (Carey) of SC, Mary Robinson (Timmy) all of SC; son, Tony Williams of Gainesville; seven grandchildren; sister and brother in law, Shirley and Doug Corbin of Gainesville; brother, Randall Williams of Gainesville; brother and sister in law, Tim and Harriett Williams of Lula; sister in law, Jerri Ann Williams of Gainesville and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
