Dorothy Jennifer Westmoreland

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Ms. Dorothy Jennifer Westmoreland, age 50, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Sunday October 16, 2022. Ms. Westmoreland was born in Anderson, South Carolina the daughter of Albert Westmoreland and Amanda Smith Frye. He was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Taylor Westmoreland. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include husband, Chris Sawyer of Dahlonega, GA. Two daughters, Madison Sawyer, and Abigail Sawyer both of Jefferson, GA. Stepson, Christopher Sawyer of Dahlonega, GA. Parents, Al and Anita Westmoreland of Jefferson, GA. Mother, Amanda Frye of Jemison, AL. Brother, Jeff Westmoreland (Brittani) of Helen, GA.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend G. Richard Hoard officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at Evans Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Jefferson City School Foundation PO Box 624, Jefferson, Georgia 30549.
