Margaret Posey Oberleitner

Mrs. Margaret Posey Oberleitner, age 94, of Buford passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by family.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home.  Rev. Rix Threadwill will officiate.  The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday October 19, 2022 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.  Interment will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens in Montgomery, Alabama.

Mrs. Oberleitner was born January 13, 1928 to the late J. Burton & Lillie Carrigan Posey in Montgomery, Alabama.  A member of Buford Presbyterian Church, she was a retired Administrative Assistant with Unisys.

Mrs. Oberleitner is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Gail Oberleitner & William Paul Ormsby and Linda Diane Oberleitner & Steve Webb; grandchildren, Mike Ormsby and Jeff & Emily Ormsby; and great-grandchildren, Evelyn Ormsby and Owen Ormsby.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Oberleitner; parents; and sister, Katherine Posey Page.
