Christin Kimberly Hooper

Christin Kimberly Hooper passed away on October 4, 2022. Christin was born in March of 1981, the daughter of Mickey and Kathy Smith. She attended elementary and middle school in Aiken, SC, high school in Augusta, GA, and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Master’s Degree in early childhood education. She taught Kindergarten for several years in Clarke County, GA.

Christin married Josh Hooper in 2005 and they gave birth to Landon and Addison in 2008, followed by Chase and Ansley in 2010. Her children were the joy of her life. She was a wonderful mother. She loved to go to Lake Burton, GA and Fripp Island, SC growing up and had many, many good times there with friends and family. Christin was a kind, caring, and loving person, who always tried her best, even when it was hard. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, her sister Amy James, and her parents, all of Smyrna, GA.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Mincey officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Whitefield Academy Fund at https://tinyurl.com/bdzcx8kj.
