Charles “Big Boy” Hutchins, age 56, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022. He was preceded in death by parents, Harold J C Hutchins and Betty Knott Hutchins, and sisters, Joann Munday and Martha Gwinn. Mr. Hutchins is survived by sisters, Shirley Cochran of Buford, Donna Hutchins of Gainesville, GA, Patricia (and Joe) Stephens of Buford; brothers, Steve (and Julie) Hutchins of Illinois, Harold “Bill” Hutchins of Buford; stepmother, Liz Hutchins of Buford; uncle and aunt, John and Betty Hutchins of Buford; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Hutchins was born on September 15, 1966 in Buford, GA and received his education at Buford High School. He had worked at Billy Beard Grocery Store, Puckett Restaurant, and at Hill Brothers Grocery store, all located in Buford. Mr. Hutchins presently attended Riverside Baptist Church in Buford but had attended Suwanee Congregational Holiness Church in Suwanee until the church closed. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Thomason officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17.
