Floyd Kenneth Haynes

Floyd Kenneth Haynes age 81 of Gainesville entered heaven Wednesday October 12, 2022 at the home of his daughter-in-law.

Floyd was born in Gainesville on December 28, 1940 tot he late John Floyd & Sarah Geneva Haynes. He was retired from Simpson Trucking where he drove a truck for a number of years. He was a faithful member of Corinth Baptist Church where he formerly taught the older adult men's Sunday school class. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Haynes; brothers, Robert Haynes & William Haynes.

Left to cherish precious memories, wife, Wilma Haynes; sons, Mark Haynes & Joe Haynes; daughter, Sarah Ann (Jeff) Bell; daughter-in-law, Adrienne Haynes; 6 grandchildren, many great grandchildren. A number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services honoring Floyd will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry Loggins officiating. He will be laid to rest at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends form 6pm until 8 pm Friday October 14, 2022 at the funeral home.
