Mr. Caleb LeeMon “Soul Fillah” Jackson was born in Gainesville, GA on April 17, 1992 to Jimmie and Erica Jackson. He gained his wings on October 7, 2022 due to sudden illness.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Young, grandmother, Beverly Henderson, grandfather, Willie G. Jackson, and uncle George “Randy” Jackson.
Caleb was a graduate of Johnson High School in the year 2010, where he was a phenomenal football player. He also attended Tuskegee University in Alabama and University of North Georgia in Oakwood.
Since birth, Caleb was a member of Greater A Manger Holiness church where he was baptized in the name of Jesus by his father and uncle Pastor Timothy Jackson. At the age of 15, he became a member of Jesus Christ Explosion Ministries in Monroe, Ga. where his father served as pastor. Caleb was faithful in his serving to God so much that in late May of 2022, under his father’s teaching, they moved to Guiding Light Apostolic Church of Christ Inc. in Monroe, Ga. where he served as Minister of Music. Caleb was a very talented, mannerable individual. He was a lover of music and could play any instrument that he touched. His keyboards were his girlfriends. He wrote several songs,
poetry and loved to sketch. He thought he was VanGough. Caleb worked many years with Mighty Men Movers owned by his father Jimmie. He spent the last 6 months as a faithful employee of the Cottrell Family.
Caleb leaves to cherish his memories his mother and father, Jimmie and Erica Jackson, brothers: Jimmie L. (Natesha) Jackson Sr., Brandon (Doina) Young, Tray (Candace) Malone, all of Gainesville, Ga. and Joshua Jackson of Billings, MT; sisters: Courtney Young, Krystaline Williams, and Audrianna Jackson all of Gainesville, Ga.; a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends with a special love for his nephews Andrew and Trey. He will definitely be missed.
Visitation will be held at Wimberly Funeral Home on Friday, October 14th between the hours of 12:00 - 8:00 PM. Caleb's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 15th at Historic St. John at the hour of 11:00am. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
