Dennis Lamar Martin

Mr. Dennis Lamar Martin, age 70, of Commerce passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Martin was born in Commerce to Alice Crocker Martin of Commerce and the late, Junior Martin.  Mr. Martin was the owner of Martin’s Roofing.

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Shirley Worley Martin of Commerce; sons, Jason Martin (Janet) of Commerce, Keith Martin (Beth) of Jefferson, and Greg Martin (Jeanan) of Commerce; four granddaughters, Kaylee, Aubrey, Marietta, and Anna Beth.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 11^th at 11 AM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Bond and Rev. Jimmy Peck officiating with the interment following in Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 5-7 PM.
