Mrs. Betty Lou Blackwell Dispain, age 68 of Oakwood, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with entombment in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Reverend Allen Passmore will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 4 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dispain was born June 6, 1954 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Harold William Blackwell and Rosie Lee Newberry Blackwell. She was a homemaker and a member of South Hall Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to South Hall Baptist Church, 5324 Whitmire Drive, Gainesville, GA 30504.
Mrs. Dispain is survived by her husband, Danny Dispain of Oakwood, her children, Shannon Doyle Dispain of Lula and Wendy Lynn Dispain of Oakwood, her granddaughter, Amber Jean Dispain, her great-granddaughter, Haley Fay Wright, her sisters, Sarah Garrett of Hiawassee, Frances Woodall of Cumming, Connie Cuytin of Valdosta and Anna Bell Balckwell of Texas.
