Wilma Lavern Allen

Wilma Lavern Allen, age 88, of Gainesville entered rest Wednesday October 5, 2022 at her residence with her son by her side.

Wilma was born April 1, 1934 in Gainesville to the late Walt & Alma Walker Allen. She was retired from Nokia as a technician. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Satterfield.

Left to cherish precious memories, son, David Savage; grandchildren, Chris Dorsey & Jordan Smith. A number of other relatives also survive.

Services honoring Wilma will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday October 12, 2022 at the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Waters officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
