Benny Mangum

Mr. Benny Mangum, 78, of Braselton, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born on June 20, 1944 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Guy Mangum and the late Asalee White Mangum.  Mr. Mangum was retired from Merritt Construction where he was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Chestnut Mountain Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Mangum was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Moore Mangum.

Mr. Mangum is survived by his daughter and son in law, Stacy and Jason Helton of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Mark and Holly Mangum of Jefferson; grandchildren, Cooper, and Sara Helton and Courtland, and Camden Mangum; brother and sister in law, John and Vickie Mangum of Gainesville and other loving relatives.
