Hollis Lee Arrendale, 72 of Clarkesville, Georgia transitioned from this life, October 03, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Born at the Arrendale Clinic in Cornelia, Georgia on July 24, 1950, Hollis was raised in his beloved hometown of Clarkesville, Georgia. He lived life with a passion as big as the Montana skies, where he also called home for 20 years prior to returning to Georgia earlier this year. Hollis lived a life rich in travel, adventure, friendships, and memories….he ‘did it his way.’ He was a proud United States Army Veteran and leaves a wonderful family legacy.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Thomas Augustus Arrendale & wife, Della Blalock; Lascoe Dixon & wife, Cona LaPrade; & adored parents, Lee Arrendale & wife, Johnnie.
He is survived by his loving wife, Thayne “Tutti” Arrendale of Clarkesville, GA; brother, John Arrendale & his wife, Evelyn & family of Cornelia, GA; daughters, Catie Arrendale Loggins & husband, Mark & family of Cleveland, GA; Tiffany Arrendale Martin & husband, Joe & family of Dalton, GA; Stephanie Arrendale Fields & husband, Jason & family of Portal, GA; Cille Arrendale Galante & husband, Nick & family of Columbia, SC; step-son, Scott Taylor & wife, Tara & family of Birmingham, AL; many cousins and his loyal Scotties, Fitzgerald & Truman.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 06, 2022 at Hillside Memorial Chapel in Clarkesville with Rev. Vicki Mann officiating. Interment will follow in the Clarkesville City Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Grant Reeves Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Thursday, October 06, 2022.
