Joyce Marie Price

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Joyce Marie Price, age 68 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Monday, October 3, 2022. Mrs. Price was born in Shreveport, Louisiana the daughter of the late Booker T. & Dorothy Harris Price. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Porter and a sister, Aletha Whittington.

Mrs. Price worked as a school bus driver for over 15 years with the Caddo Parish School System in Shreveport, LA and most recently with the Gwinnett County School System with over 20 years of service driving a school bus. Mrs. Price loved giving her time and money to many charities, crocheting, and sewing. She was also of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include daughter, Samantha Maynard of Snellville, GA. Son, Clifford Moore of Snellville, GA. Sister, Jennie V. Johnson of California. Ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.

In accordance with Mrs. Prices wishes, she will be cremated, and no services will be held.
