Jean Harper, 90 years old, took her celestial departure on October 2nd, 2022, at home in Lawrenceville, GA.
Jean was born in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad & Tobago on September 16th, 1932, to the late Victor and Violet Frederick.
Jean worked at Premier Shirt Factory as a factory worker and Lady Hochoy Home as a Teacher’s Aide for autistic children for many years.
Jean was a deeply and devoted wife to the late Clifford Earl Winston Harper who she wed on December 1st, 1957, at St. Margaret’s Church in Belmont, Trinidad.
Jean is the mother of David, Oliver, Juliana, Fabian, Jessie, Selina, and the late Joanna Harper. She is the grandmother of seven (Nyoka, Sade, Eian, Gaelan, Jovann, Jazmin, and Arielle), great grandmother of four (Saphira, Natalia, Omari, and Leah), and mother-in-law to (Patrice, Kathleen, and Cluny).
She is the sister of the late Marshall (Fitzroy), Neville, Ainsley (Ivan), Joyce, Mervyn (Knolly), Franklyn (Franky), Arthur, and Michael (Mikey). She is survived by sisters Phyllis in the United Kingdom, Audrey in Trinidad, and Margaret in New York.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2022, in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.
