Maverick Elijah Vanesse

Infant Maverick Eligh Vanesse of Lavonia passed away Saturday October 1, 2022 at Children’s Hospital of Georgia in Augusta.

A son of Jake Vanesse and Bailey Witt, he was born September 19, 2022 in Athens, Georgia, he is preceded in death by great-grandfather Randy Garner and a cousin Colson Smith  

Surviors include his parents Jake Vanesse and Bailey Witt of Lavonia, grandparents Mandi Hanks of Greenville, South Carolina, Craig Witt of Anderson, South Carolina, Jonathan Ragsdale of Toccoa, Rebecca Nations of Toccoa, great- grandparents Kathy Garner of Toccoa and Ken and Andrea Ford of Lavonia, great-great grandmother Carol Ford of Toccoa, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 4, 2022 at 4 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Aaron Elrod officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:30PM til 4 P.M.

Interment will follow in Lavonia City Cemetery

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Jake Vanesse and Ken Ford
