Martha Scott Barrett

Mrs. Martha Scott Barrett age 77 of Toccoa passed away Thursday September 29, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Dave and Emma Mae Clark Scott, she was born June 27, 1945 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all of her life. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She loved to go shopping and working in her garden. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She loved people and was always a giver. She was preceded in death by brothers J.W. Scott, Marvin Scott, Frank Scott, Ernest Scott and Leon Scott.  

Survivors include her husband Oscar Barrett of the home, sons and daughter-in-law Danny Barrett of Toccoa and David and Donna Barrett of Birmingham, Alabama, grandchildren Emma “Emie” (Ethan) Barrett Redden and Jonah Barrett, brother Earvin Scott of Toccoa,

Funeral services will be held Saturday October 1, 2022 at 4 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Stacy Penland officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 2 P.M. til 4 P.M.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Jonah Barrett, Ethan Redden, Jay Krous and Garrett Krous

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens
