Donald Curtis "Skip" Jackson

Donald Curtis “Skip” Jackson, age 76, of Hoschton, GA, passed away on September 24, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Rosa Mae Jackson. Skip is survived by his wife of 49 years, Debra Jackson of Hoschton, GA; children, Brooke Allison (Brant) Buffum of Buford, GA, Brad William (Zoe Allison) Jackson of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Kristen Buffum, Jackson Buffum and Emma Jackson; brother, William Edward (Joanne) Jackson III of Alabama; nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.  Skip was born in Birmingham, AL on May 19, 1946 and attended Phillips High School in Birmingham and then attended Auburn University.  He served his country in the Army National Guard and retired as Operations Manager for H.D. Supply after many years of service.  Skip was formerly a member of Conyers Church of Christ for over 30 years and currently a member of Buford Church of Christ.  He was an avid bass fisherman, as well as a supporter of the Auburn Tigers and the Atlanta Braves.  Skip was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Buford Church of Christ at 1135 Chatham Rd., Buford, GA 30518.  Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the Service at the Church.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Georgia Agape, 3094 Mercer University Dr., #200, Atlanta, GA  30341.
