Howard Green, Sr.

Howard Green Sr., age 77 of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022. He was born in Dahlonega on February 16, 1945 to the late Joseph Green and the late Dona Moose Green. Howard was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt. Once hunting season opened every year, seeing Howard was considered a rarity.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Randy Woody and siblings, Vickie, Helen, Dorothy, Ruth and Ed. 

He is survived by his children, Donna (David) Barrett, Howard Green Jr. (Connie Young), and Feller Green (Jessica Miller); siblings, Joe Green, Edith Sisk and Ricky Green; grandchildren, Brian (April) Barrett, Brandy (Doug) Abercrombie and Angel Green (Ben Barnes); great grandchildren, Kyle, Madison, Brindon, Mikaela, Kaitlyn, Brooke and Wyatt.

It was Howard’s wish to be cremated. Private family services will be held on Wednesday.
