David Terrell "Terry" Bennett

Mr. David Terrell “Terry” Bennett, 65, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mr. Milton Harris will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Wednesday, September 21st from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on September 5, 1957 in Gainesville, he was the son of Nola Bone Bennett and the late Jack Bennett. He was self-employed in the Real Estate Industry. Mr. Bennett was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Bennett enjoyed spending time with his sons, golfing, fishing and hanging out with his dog, Cooper.

Mr. Bennett was preceded in death by his father, Jack Bennett.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his sons, Chad Bennett (Emily) of Demorest, Chris Bennett (Sara) of Clarkesville, Cameron Bennett of Gainesville; mother, Nola Bone Bennett of Gainesville; brother, Tim Bennett (Nancy) of Gainesville; sister, Jackie Vickery (William) of Clarkesville; his loving K9 companion, Cooper Bennett and several nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
