Joyce Nell Williams Kinsey

Mrs. Joyce Nell Williams Kinsey, 86, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Michael McIntyre and Rev. Danny Kastner will officiate. Interment will follow in Straightway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Friday, September 16, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born March 21, 1936 in Gabbettville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Jake Nixon and the late Katie Lou Jackson Nixon. She was retired from Kinsey Enterprise Fabric Shop where she was co-owner and a member of Straightway Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kinsey was preceded in death by her husbands, Berlin Williams and Marshall Kinsey daughter, Patrice Williams; son, David Williams; daughter, Cheryl Clark and a host of brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Kinsey is survived by her son and daughter in law, Dan and Robin Williams of Gainesville; grandchildren, Ashton Williams, Makayla Williams, Charlie Williams, Amy Tyner, Brent Smith, Brandon Smith, B.J. Smith; 6 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
