Fred Junior Holcomb, age 80, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
Mr. Holcomb was born on November 2, 1941, in Hiawassee, Georgia, to the late Fred Holcomb, Sr. and Faye Rogers Holcomb. He owned and operated Holcomb’s Used Cars for 54 years and was a member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Junior is preceded in death by his siblings, Martha Holcomb, Ruth Holcomb, Helen Holcomb Fain (Herbert), Guy Eugene “Bud” Holcomb, Virginia Holcomb Dean Nix (Larry Dean), Opal Merritt, James “Bill” Holcomb.
Survivors include his companion, Pat Lord, Cleveland; sisters-in-law, Earlene Holcomb, and Ellen Holcomb; nieces and nephews, F.C. Wimpy, Gary Holcomb, Larry Holcomb, Gail Holcomb Day, Keith Holcomb, Angie Holcomb McNabb, Ricky Dean, Jason Dean, and Anissa Dean; special stepchildren, Anthony Howard and Kit Hulsey.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 16, 2022, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Heffner and the Rev. Phillip Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow in Enotah Cemetery in Hiawassee, Georgia.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
