Jennie Lou Barbee

Mrs. Jennie Lou Barbee, 76, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born September 13, 1945 in Cleveland, GA she was the daughter of the late Earl Eugene Jarrard and the late Sallie Aurora Hunt Jarrard. She was a homemaker who loved caring for her family very much.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barbee was preceded in death by her brother and sister in law, Rev. Earl and Louise Jarrard and brother, Dennie Jarrard.

Mrs. Barbee is survived by her husband, James Roy Barbee of Gainesville; daughter, Glenda Louise Barbee of Gainesville; son, James Roy Barbee, II of Gainesville and brother, Robert Jarrard of Dahlonega and a number of nieces and nephews and other loving relatives.
