Delmar Andrew McDougald

Mr. Delmar Andrew McDougald, 90, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Harmony Hall Baptist Church. Rev. John Kinsey will officiate. Interment will follow in Harmony Hall Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Monday, September 12, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born May 9, 1932 in Chicopee, he was the son of the late David Andrew McDougald and the late Christine Shuler McDougald. He was retired from Fieldale, and also worked for Grogan Trucking and Milton Martin Toyota. Mr. McDouglad was a proud veteran serving in the Air Force. He was a member of Harmony Hall Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McDougald was preceded in death by his daughter, Christine McDougald; son, David McDougald; sister, Marie Heffner; granddaughter, Rhonda Miller and great-grand daughter, Brittany Miller.

Mr. McDougald is survived by his wife, Edna Childers McDougald of Gainesville; daughter, Denise Thomas of Gainesville; grandchildren, Donny Lovell, Trent McDougald, Cody Thomas, Conner Thomas, Clay Phillips, Priscilla Eveans; great-grandchildren, Kimberly Eller, Michael Miller, Dustin Lovell, Dylan Lovell, Kyle Smith, a number of great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
