Brandon Edward Strickland

Obituary Date: Wednesday, August 31, 2022

Brandon was born in Atlanta Georgia on March 8, 1975 to the late El Strickland and Mary Brown Strickland. Brandon answered his savior’s call to rest on Thursday, August 31, 2022 following a brief illness. 


Brandon was educated in the Gainesville City School system where he graduated from Gainesville High School in 1993. After graduating, Brandon attended Jackson State University for 2 years. Brandon has had several occupations. His most recent is with the United Refrigeration Service in the position of a counter clerk for the last 8 years. 


Brandon was a loving and devoted son, father and friendHe excepted Christ at an early age and  attended the St. John Baptist Church where he participated in various church activities including Youth Circle In Action and the YouthFellowship Choir. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maynard (Katherine)Yank Brown, and father El Strickland. 


Brandon leave the cherish his memories; His beloved motherMary Elizabeth Brown Strickland, one daughter; Kennedy Strickland, brother; Michael (Octavia) Strickland, niece; Ivy Grace Strickland, special friends Pacer Ware, Tony Jackson, Keith Cantrell, Bobby Cornette, West Alexander, and a host of family and friends. 


Funeral Service will be held Saturday September 10, 2022 at 1:00 pm at St. John Baptist Church.
