Bobby Rhinehart

Bobby Rhinehart, 84, of Dawsonville passed away Monday September 5, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health.

Born August 21, 1938 in Waynesville, North Carolina, Bobby had been a resident of Dawson County for almost 60 years.  He served as a Deacon at Juno Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, camping and horseback riding.  Bobby worked at Standard Telephone Company in Dawsonville for 35 years until his retirement.  He was preceded in death by his son, Keith Rhinehart.

Surviving are his wife of over 60 years, Mary Crane Rhinehart; sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Janet Rhinehart, Ricky Rhinehart; daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Tony Helton, Stella and Bryan Gober, all of Dawsonville; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Dennis Bottoms and Rev. Brody Hughes will officiate.  Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 7 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
