Alex Velasquez, 28, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on April 11, 1994 in Gwinnett County, he was the son of Jose Benitez and Martha Velasquez. He was self-employed in the Construction industry.

Mr. Velasquez is survived by his father, Jose Benitez of Gainesville; mother, Martha Velasquez of Lawrenceville; brothers, Etevan Velasquez of Lawrenceville, Junior Velasquez of Lawrenceville and sister, Etefani Benitez of Lawrenceville.
