Laura Ramsey Haynes

Obituary Date: Sunday, September 4, 2022
Mrs. Laura Ramsey Haynes was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grand mother. She worked in industrial manufacturing and the food industry for years. She is a faithful member of St. John Baptist church where she served her church and community. Through her leadership, the “Love Kitchen” grew to feed many of the needy people of our community. Even meeting the needs by delivering to the sick and shut-in as well. This was done faithfully until she became disabled.
 
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Queen Gaither Ramsey; her 3 sisters Louise Gaither, Janie Coggins, and Fannie Tanner; 2 brothers Willie Gaither and Willie Ramsey.
 
Laura leaves behind ex-husband Clarence Haynes Jr; the only remaining sibling George Ramsey (Karren Horne); 2 children Clarence Haynes III, Anita Haynes Brown; 3 grand children Amanda Nicole Haynes, Trinity Cheree Haynes, Carrol Thomas Brown; 1 great grand-child Amir Nathaniel Cunningham; and a host of nieces, nephews, & cousins and a very special cousin Dorothy Tatum and sister-in-love Mary Lois Hale-Kesler
 
Service willl be held on Saturday September 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Gainesville GA.
