Joe Boggs

Mr. Joe Boggs, 67, of Gainesville passed away August 30, 2022 from injuries sustained in a house fire.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. James West will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, September 8th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on April 27, 1955 in Hall County, he was the son of the late Wade Boggs and the late Mogene Smith Boggs. He was retired from Thomas Concrete where he was a hard worker and loved his co-workers. Joe was a dedicated owner of his small business J.B. Quality Concrete for a number of years. Joe loved his family and spending time with them.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Boggs was preceded in death by his grandson, Brannon Harvey who also passed away as a result of the house fire.

Mr. Boggs is survived by his daughters and sons in law, Christie Boggs Dalton and Thomas of Gainesville, Misty Boggs Freeman and Jamie of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Hallie Harvey, Skyler Harvey, Bentley Dalton, Kaleb Freeman, Jackson Freeman; step daughter, Brandie Grindle; 3 step grandchildren and many other aunts, uncles and extended family.
