Leanne Ness

Leanne Ness, age 57, of Duluth, GA, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022. Funeral services for Leanne will be held on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at the Flanigan Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 6^th, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Leanne was born December 18^th, 1964 in Columbus, GA, to James Eric Ethridge and Marianne Avera Ethridge.

Leanne was passionate for her career as a CPA earning her the title of Vice President of Financial Reporting at Primerica Inc. She was a woman of strong Christian faith who lived a selfless and blissfully happy life as a devoted wife and mother. She is often described as someone who has a smile that could light up any room. Her love of sports was best highlighted in her endless support of her children throughout their athletic achievements.

She is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Richard C. Ness Jr., and her three children who were her world, Lauren Avera Ness, 31, Richard “Chip” Ness III, 26, and Jack Evans Ness, 23, her parents Marianne and James “Jim” Ethridge, and brother James “Jimbo” Ethridge as well as a host of extended family and close friends.
