Bonnie Mae Turner

    Mrs. Bonnie Mae Turner, age 83, of Gainesville, entered the Gates of Heaven on Thursday Evening, September 1, 2022, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Phil Carpenter will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 5 – 7 pm at the funeral home. 

            Mrs. Turner was born January 16, 1939 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Alvin Dale and Muriel McDonald Dale.  She was retired from Norton-Clipper as a Supervisor.  Bonnie loved her children and her 9 grandchildren, whom were the light of her life.  Her family was the most important thing to her.  Bonnie loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church.  She was a devoted wife and mother and will be forever remembered as a gentle soul. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Doris Tallant and her brothers, Harold Dale & Bobby Dale.

            Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband of 66 years, Elgin L. Turner of Gainesville, her children, Robin T. & Mark Gravitt of Gainesville and Mark E. & Susan Turner of Gainesville, her grandchildren, Jess Gravitt, Malorie Peck, Mollie Cleveland and Maggie Syfan, her 7 great-grandchildren, her siblings, Linda & Jerald Smith of Gainesville, Betty DeFranco of Gadsden, Alabama, Gail Murray of Cumming and Al & Cynthia Dale of Atlanta.
