Wesley Freeman, 41, of Atlanta, died on Monday August 22nd, 2022.
He was the son of Teresa McKinney and David Freeman. He was a Managing Director of IS Assurance at BDO USA.
He was an exemplary husband, son, brother, friend and co-worker. He will be extremely missed by all who knew him.
Wesley loved being on his boat on Lake Lanier. He fully enjoyed being with his friends whom he loved with his whole heart. And he loved his dog Sidney more than anyone could ever imagine.
Wes loved his wife, Alicia, passionately. He would stop the world to make her happy. He was so kind and gentle. So incredibly funny, he would do anything to make someone laugh. He was creative, hardworking, honest, patient, understanding, sincere, and sensitive. He never spoke an ill word of anyone. He loved fiercely with his whole heart and would do anything for anyone who needed him.
Wes is survived by his wife, Alicia Freeman; his mother and stepfather Teresa and Jerry McKinney; his father and stepmother David and Liz Freeman; grandmothers, Betty Wilson and Mary Lou Freeman; step brothers, Chad McKinney (Cassie) and Ryan McKinney (Lindsey) and niece and nephews Declan, Deacon, Eloise and Frankie. He also had many aunts and uncles that loved him dearly.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 28 from 1-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Little and Davenport Funeral Home.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, August 29 at 2:00 pm in the Sanctuary at First Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA. His service will also be live streamed on YouTube for anyone who is unable to attend.
