Bobby Gene Christopher

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Bobby Gene Christopher, age 68, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Friday, August 19, 2022. Mr. Christopher was born in Duluth, Georgia the son of the late Robert Christopher and Mary Florine Carver Christopher of Jefferson.

Mr. Christopher worked at Lester Paint and Body Shop in Gainesville, Georgia and was a Deacon at Roman Road Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors in addition to his mother include daughters, Christy Martinez of Jefferson, and Melissa Conner of Jefferson.  Sister, Shirley Wells of Stockbridge, brother, Rickie Christopher of Commerce. Four grandchildren, Aaron Luke Avery, Dakota Avery, Theron Conner, Reanna Conner, and nine nieces and nephews also survive.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 25, 2022, from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Mrs. Shirley Wells officiating with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from Evans Funeral Home.
