Bryan Wesley Kidd

Mr. Bryan Wesley Kidd, 62, of Gillsville, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in the Cemetery of Springway Baptist Church. Ray Tatum will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on October 12, 1959 in Gainesville, he was the son of Norman Kidd (step mother, Patsy Kidd) and the late Louise Peck Strickland.  He was self-employed and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Kidd was preceded in death by his sister, Judy McDonald and brother, Floyd Flanagan.

Mr. Kidd is survived by his wife, Rhonda Kidd of Gillsville; son and daughter in law, Bryan Wade Kidd and Stacy of Gillsville; daughter and son in law, Alisha Scroggs and Larry of Gainesville; son, Lee Edwards of Buford; grandchildren, Karter Kidd, Brandon Shockley, Naomi Trusty, LeeAnna Scroggs, Lucas Scroggs; great grandchildren, Kinsley Shockley, Elliemae Trusty; sister and brother in law, Gail Breazeale and Gary of Gainesville and a number of loving nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
