Mrs. Brenda Pitts Smith, age 71 of Glendale Street, Toccoa, GA, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA after a brief illness. Brenda was born February 4, 1951 in Stephens County where she lived all her life. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her son “Joey” Bohannon who passed away only hours before her death.
Survivors include her husband Gary Smith of the home, daughters Pamela (Chip) Gilbert of Danielsville, GA and Tonya Payne of Royston GA, grandchildren : Andrew Fitzpatrick, Chandler Hart, Ace Payne, Inna Payne and Alisha Gilbert and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held later at the home.
