Richard Jackson

Mr. Richard Jackson, age 72, of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.  Mr. Jackson was born in Gainesville to the late, Isaac Mitchell and Curtis Lee Bruce Jackson.  Mr. Jackson was a carpenter and of the Baptist Faith.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Jackson was also preceded in death by his son, Keith Harris.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Connie Ruth Thomason Jackson of Cleveland; children, Regina Pilgrim of Cleveland, Mitchell Jackson of Cleveland, and Rhonda Jackson of Nicholson; brothers, Randy Jackson of Toccoa and Clyde Jackson of Baldwin; sisters, Reba Albertson of Clermont and Jimmie Hawkins of Gainesville; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Friday, August 12^th at 11 AM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Dayton Sosebee officiating with the interment following at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Suches, GA.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 5-8 PM.
