Rita Canupp Kinsey age 66, of Mt. Airy, went home to be with the Lord and join the family reunion on Thursday, August 4, 2022.
Born on December 30, 1955 in Stephens County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Garner and Agnes McIntyre. Rita was formerly employed by Crane Transport and recently owned and operated Truckers Docs. She loved her critters, reading and her church family at Clearview Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Sue Canupp; and sister/daughter, Angie Demmings.
Surviving family who will be waiting to join her at the family reunion include daughter, Melanie F. Kinsey; “sister/daughter,” Donna Martin and Mark Rape; grandchildren, Misty Norton, Preston Maddox and Haven Maddox; great grandchildren, Emily, Amber, Rae, and Alan Norton; brother and sister-in-law, Michael “Foot” and Betty Levy; sister and brother-in-law, Robbie and Robert Crump; much loved cousins, nieces and nephews, and very special cousin, Susan Parshall.
Memorial services will be held at 3 pm, on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Clearview Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends following service on Sunday in the church fellowship hall.
