John Alan Whitehead

Mr. John Alan Whitehead, age 65, of Athens, GA died Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Landmark Hospital.  Mr. Whitehead was born in Commerce to Robert Whitehead of Bogart and the late, Jean Dale Whitehead.  He was a member of Statham Baptist Church and was employed at Ingles.

In addition to his father, Mr. Whitehead is survived by his wife, Pamela Elizabeth Yearwood Whitehead of Athens; children, Crissy Scott of Colbert, Patti Whitehead of Bethlehem, Kelsey Whitehead and Katlyn Whitehead both of Winder, Robby Whitehead of Danielsville, Jeremy Whitehead of Clearwater, FL and Thomas Whitehead of Hoschton; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Saturday, August 6 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Bennett and Rev. Marshall Dale officiating.  Interment will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 7 PM.
