Muriel Alexis Johnson was born on February 28, 1986, at the American Army Hospital in Wurzburg, Germany. She transitioned to her heavenly home on July 25, 2022, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville Georgia. Muriel was the youngest of four Siblings, born to Leroy and Linda Johnson.
Muriel grew up at New Hope Baptist Church in Ayer Massachusetts (MA) where she sang in the sunshine choir and won the title of “Little Miss New Hope.” She also participated as a “Blue Belle,” at Live Oak Church of God in Hinesville Georgia.
Muriel received her Highschool Diploma in Atlanta Georgia.
Muriel participated in several activities growing up. She was a part of the Girl Scouts where she served as a “Daisy.” She played soccer for the Ft. Devens, MA recreation center on team, “Bolts.”
Muriel had several interests that she enjoyed. She had a dynamic stream of talents. She loved dancing, singing and rapping. She also enjoyed comedy, music, movies, traveling, cooking and swimming. She greatly enjoyed preparing food dishes at family gatherings as she cooked well. More than cooking, she enjoyed eating a really well-prepared home cooked meal. She enjoyed selfcare. A homemade spa day coupled with a great fragrance, new hairdo, nails and outfit was a nice treat that she indulged in from time to time. Above all she loved spending quality time with her family and friends during holidays and special occasions.
She leaves to cherish her memory her parents Leroy J. Johnson and Linda J. Johnson, brother Ronald E. Pulley and two sisters Londa V.Thornton and Lynnette A. Johnson. Her “God Mother,” Nadine Minix her loving daughter Camiyah Lynnise Wright (17), Carlos Deon Wright (15), Myori Keniya Wright (17mo.), Malia Kenashia Wright (17mo.) and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Muriel's visitation will be held at Wimberly Funeral Home between the hours of 12-8pn on Thursday, August 4th. Ms. Johnson's Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 5th at the hour of 1pm at Hillside Chapel. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
